The Mid America Scale TS series Low Profile truck scale is ideal for installation between silos, beneath hoppers, next to buildings, in areas with underground obstructions, or high water tables. The TS Series can be placed on a concrete slab, set on piers, or used as a pit type scale.
For many years, Mid America Scale has been considered a premier truck scale manufacturer. Jay Schallner, owner of MidAmerica Scale, started with CMI in 1985, and worked as General Manager of the CMI Weighing Division through the late 1990's. As General Manager at CMI, he played an intricate part in designing the popular Pitsaver III Truck Scale.
MidAmerica Scale's TS Series standard truck scale features supersede any truck scale on the market. The TS Series is ideal for installation between silos, beneath hoppers, next to buildings, in areas with underground obstructions, or high water tables. The TS Series Electronic Low- Profile Steel Deck is known nationwide for its durability and innovative design.
STANDARD FEATURES
The Mid American Scale TS Series is designed with 10" tall wide I-beams running longitudinally. The spacing of the I-beams is directly under the truck tire path to Increase longevity, strength, and durability.
The TS series uses heavy-duty diamond checkered steel safety plate. Top access cover plates to all load cells, J-boxes, bolts and side bump brackets make for easy installation/maintenance.
The low-profile design is 14" overall height with 3-1/2" washout clearance.
The scale is a modular design which allows for easy future expansion and relocation.
Load cell stands and side bump brackets are anchored to the concrete foundation with expansion bolts after modules are aligned and bolted together allowing for perfect placement of scale.
The TS Series uses end bumper bolts thus eliminating the damaging shock found in designs that require check rods. This speeds installation and allows for easier scale adjustment.
To protect against moisture and rodents, all wiring is protected by 1" plastic conduit. Wiring between load cell and J-boxes is ran in factory installed conduit.
The summing boards have individual adjustment pots for each section and position on all scales. Gaseous diodes are standard on all boards to provide electrical overload protection. A ground rod kit is provided.
Utilizes highly accurate 60,000 lb. class IIIL double-ended shear beam load cells with 150% overload rating.
All surfaces are sandblasted to white metal, sprayed with a rust inhibitive primer, then an acrylic enamel coat.
