The Doran 8200IS Intrinsically Safe Bench Scale is a complete weighing system for use in any of the classes, divisions, and groups of hazardous areas.
The Doran 8100IS Series and Doran 8200IS Series are UL Intrinsically Safe (IS) Certified in accordance with U.S. UL and American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and with CAN Standards. The units are also certified IP6X against hazardous dust and fine particles that can ignite.
Battery or AC Powered Models are Available
The rechargeable battery pack provides hours of use under continuous operation—much longer when used with sleep mode turned on. The battery pack is external and easily removed to the safe area for recharging.
For permanent installations, the 8200IS AC model includes AC power supply, eliminating the need for the IS battery and safe area charger.
