The suspension load pull stick is a chassis setup tool that many race teams utilize to help improve their overall race car balance and setup for each race track that they compete on. Using a set of racing scales is a great idea in the shop. In fact, most racing teams have done this for years with either a Longacre or Intercomp set of scales. And of course before that many teams used the old grain scales placed under each tire of the race car. However, when you are at the race track, it's usually not feasible to scale your race car. But, you can remove your right front shock and bolt a load stick on your race car and simulate what it's like when the front of the car enters turn one.
There's a lot of videos on YouTube that discuss some of the things you can measure and test by using a load stick on your late model race car. The load stick we offer is adjustable and includes a load cell and the digital display that's calibrated. The load stick fully compressed center to center is approximately 13 1/2 inches and once you adjust it to fully extended it is approximately 19".
