Cardinal SB555 Remote Display w/ Traffic Light & Mirroring

​Cardinal Scale Manufacturing model# SB555 remote display features a traffic light and mirroring. The large 5 in/12.7 cm high-intensity dual-row LED display with red-and-green/stop-and-go traffic lights is high visibility for 250 ft/75 m viewing range and +/- 70 degree viewing angle. It comes standard with a mirror feature that mirrors the display every five (5) seconds allowing the weight to be seen in vehicle mirrors when leaving the scale.

The SB555 supports linked multiple displays for viewing multiple axles and total weight simultaneously by setting a different communication address in each connected display. The powder-coat-painted steel, weatherproof IP65-rated enclosure with built-in rain/sun hood includes four mounting flanges for easy installation. The remote display is compatible with all current and legacy Cardinal Scale indicators, Belt-Way integrators, and most indicators from other manufacturers.

The SB555 offers excellent weight data visibility in outdoor applications and from distances with alpha descriptors for units and weight mode. The convenient bottom access panel provides easy access to internal wiring and configuration switches. An on-board light sensor automatically adjusts brightness to be visible in all levels of light from direct sunlight to total darkness.

Eight serial data formats come standard, including the SB500 with Traffic Light (default setting) and the Beltway Integrator. The remote display can be configured for RS232, RS485, or 20mA with baud rate selectable from 2400 to 19,200. Three data format settings are available: (8, None, 1), (7, Odd, 1), and (7, Even, 1). It supports 20mA current loop communications with both current and legacy Cardinal indicators. It is 36.6 in/93 cm wide by 10.6 in/27 cm high by 4.75 in/12 cm deep.
