Rice Lake Roughdeck BDP Barrel Scale

When flexibility is required for weighing large items such as barrels and drum pallets, the Rice Lake RoughDeck® BDP’s low profile design and optional hinged access ramps enable effortless loading and unloading. Live side rails permit items exceeding the standard scale dimensions to be weighed accurately where they sit on the scale. Design feature options include treaded mild steel or smooth stainless steel top plates, and environmentally sealed or welded-seal load cells catering to a vast range of application conditions.

With ramps that sit flush with ground, the RoughDeck BDP accommodates barrels, drums, and pallets. Indicator stand can be attached to a portability frame so vibration does not interfere with zeroing. Portability frame and caster engaging mechanism are below scale's live rails, for unconfined weighing of large items. Load cells and cables are recessed into structural steel channels and fully enclosed junction box is accessible from top.

Choose from a mild steel model with a diamond treadplate deck for industrial applications or a 304 stainless steel model with a smooth deck for hostile environments. The stainless steel model has optional welded-seal stainless steel load cells for corrosive or washdown applications. A variety of digital weight indicators are available for vivid weight display.

ROUGHDECK BDP PORTABILITY KITS
Take the stationary RoughDeck® BDP where you need it with the optional Portability Kit. Perfect for material handling fieldwork applications, the compact, low profile frame showcases a lifting mechanism which, when engaged, allows the operator to move the scale in any direction. The frame also includes brackets for mounting optional access ramps providing maneuverable approaches for any material. Four NSF approved caster-designed wheels enable the operator to move the scale easily and effortlessly. Use the indicator stand with Rice Lake’s IQ Plus® 390-DC indicator and you have a visible weighing system at your command, anywhere you can take it.

Kits include: • Frame • Two swivel and two fixed zinc plated steel NSF approved wheels (75 lb max. load capacity)• Indicator stand (suitable for certain RLWS indicators)
