DON’T BUY A COUNTING SCALE WITH TOO MUCH CAPACITY!!! Many people buy a parts counter with more maximum capacity than they typically will be needing. The reason: "I want to be able weigh my two or three larger items that I have to count." If 75% of the time you will be counting no more than 10 lbs of parts at a time, a 10 lb. capacity counting scale is the ideal choice as opposed to a 50 lb. capacity scale since you may be sacrificing resolution so you can have a larger capacity. Too many times, consumers see the large capacity and think they may need that in the future or they need it to count the couple of larger items that they have. If you think you may need to weigh and count larger items in the future, just make sure you buy a counting scale with a remote scale option available. Examples include the 788, 2240, & 7600 below. Then when the time comes you can add a bench scale platform or even a 4’x4’ floor scale. That way you can weigh / count large and small amounts.

The “QuickCount” feature incorporates four, brightly colored “QuickCount” keys that are centrally grouped for accessibility. This feature invites fast and easy basic counting operations - only COUNT, SAMPLE, ZERO and PRINT keys are active.

A second scale input allows the 2240 to be connected to a remote scale. The remote scale can be used either as the sampling scale, the bulk scale, or both.
